Mechanical Mage

I liked the idea of a mage who places his essence into the body of a machine to avoid death.

I imagine the mind would suffer dearly from the loss of flesh-based senses and the sundering of ones humanity. Perhaps this would shed light on the motivations of a mad, tin-mage as he carves a path of ruin in his fevered quest for a new body.

Dating would be difficult as well.

This is the first time I've attempted to use coloring in a picture. The first day had me cursing and looking at CS5 tutorials on-line. I've learned a hard lesson- don't color the original pencils! I stuck with it. There are Copic markers, water color pencils and every pen in my house present. In the end, I feel like I should have stuck with pencils but I still like the general idea.
